Saving a Boston Whaler 13 from being a Flower pot !

" Flower Pot " - Boston Whaler 13 ft ! Well another Project / Restore this old ( maybe early 60's ) Hull # ? Was going to become a backyard Flower Bed ! So, Capt. Mike purchase this baby for $ 350.00 . It needs a lot of work , but I'll keep updating his BW 13 as we start working on her !

A few more pic's !  The Trailer tires had sunk into the yard over the years & it had two engine cover hoods ?

The hull is definitely pre-1974.  I think that was the first year for the off-white interior.  Previous hulls had you blue interior.  But on the bright side, those hulls came with a LIFETIME WARRANTY!  ::)

Flower Pot Hull # 7648 which is around 1962 ! I first thought it was Hull # 48 which would be 1958 , but it still a find for a BW 13 ....

Start to clean up this old girl , need to use the " Farrow System " Soda Blasting machine next !

Farrow system Soda blasting the bottom and sanding the side of the hull !

Well ,big question is the hull dry or is it water logged?  It is DRY .....

Barrier Coated & Paint the bottom and AWLGRIP the boat with White paint.

Awlgriped the inside of the BW 13 - Seafoam green color instead of standard blue and added a New White Rub Rail !!!!!! Cardinal Joe
