1072 or 916 - anyone?
« on: June 12, 2009, 07:28:20 PM »
Could it be this easy? There is a new 12 for sale named DUCKLING. I've reached out to see if they know the hull # - although they list her as 1924 not 1928.....

She also has her original plate:

There are two Ducklings.... which is this?

Nice catch, Adam.  The caption on one of the photos says "ex-Mr. Pip", which makes it 916.  There is a picture of 916 in the Registry taken about 2 years ago when the boat went up for sale in Marblehead.  She was red at the time.  By the looks of it, she has recently completed a restoration and the owner is trying to flip her.

Let me know if you hear anything ... it would be nice to have the owner's name.
