It has canvas-covered plywood decks. Ben Strohecker, CEO of Harbor Sweets in Salem, MA owned her at the time she went to George W. Zachorne, Jr. for restoration. He hadn't gotten very far into the job when Ben decided to sell her. There is a candy named Sweet Sloop, which is shaped as this boat. She was sold to Don Stone of North Kingstown, RI. Donís intention was to restore her himself. After storing the boat for two years he sold her back to Zachorne. George noted that she showed poorer construction and slipshod use of material, as did Nuthatch. Needless to say, after George was finished she is in now top condition.
